Description
Gustav Mahler Symphony No.3 in D minor Jascha Horenstein (conductor) & London Symphony Orchestra with Norma Proctor (contralto), The Ambrosian Singers, Wandsworth School Boys Choir. Recorded in London 1970 Unicorn Records Double LP RHS302/3 Gatefold sleeve. Winner of the Grand Prix Du Disque and the Stereo Geijutsu Prize (Japan).
This is an ex-library copy of this rare double LP, which appears to have had very little playing and is generally in very good condition. There are are two surface marks - one on each side of disc one - neither of which caused any problem on my player, but could possibly do so with a lighter pick-up weight. The discs have obviously had small stickers on the label, which have been removed but left a differently coloured (small) area. The sleeve is generally excellent, although there is evidence that a library sticker has been remove from the inside and a "withdrawn for sale" stamp applied.
