Absolutely stunning copy of the 1958 classic recording of Mahler’s Second Symphony (Resurrection) conducted by Bruno Walter, on Columbia stereo 2-LP M2S-601. Considered by many to be one of the great recordings of this piece, and here in the amazing stereo version. Beautiful grey 2-Eye label copy appearing possibly never played. The discs are both pretty much mint and play flawlessly and just gorgeously. Both inner sleeves and inner cardboard covers are included, all in a thick cardboard slipcase. The case is quite lovely as well, with just slight edgewear, mainly at the top left, where part of the outer paper is torn on the edge, and the lower right and lower left, where a couple of small splits have been taped. Barely noticeable. This is really a top copy, very hard to beat. Sounds incredible.
