rare US first press vinyl 2LP box set released in the late 1950s on "6-eye" deep groove COLUMBIA stereo label with catalognumber M2S 601. This is an early first pressing with the following stampers: side1: 1E / side 1C / side 3: 1G / side 4: 1A ... The beautiful box complete with original innersleeves and vinyl in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect!  Famous reference performance by Bruno Walter conducting the New York Philharmonic Orchestra & Westminster Chorus feat. Emilia Cundari and Maureen Forrester.. Compare with other famous interpretations by e.g. Otto Klemperer, Leonard Bernstein, Sinopoli, ,.. etc.  ... see photo.
