MAIJA The Voice (1980) finnish jazz folk LP

MAIJA The Voice LP. Music by heikki Sarmanto. Bluebird Records BBL-1012 Stereo. The Original finnish Pressing from 1980. The Matrix numbers for side A is "BBL 1012 A" and "BBL 1012 B" for side B. There are also text "TX" and "CR STO" on the area between the last track and the vinyl's label.

The unlaminated single Cover and disc are in EX/MINT- condition. The Cover has no writing, no creases, no tears, no seam splits, no price sticker residues, some wear on the bottom edge, perfect spine and all text is readable. The Disc has no scratches and plays excellent. The label has no spindle marks and no writings.

This is very rare and hard to find finnish early 80's jazz folk LP by Maija Hapuoja and Heikki Sarmanto. Very emotional, beautiful songs without words by Maija Hapuoja. On the back sleeve Heikki Sarmanto, Composer and producer, says : "The fantastic voice of Maija Hapuoja has inspired me ever since we started collaborating in the early seventies. In contrast to our previous recordings, the songs of this album have no lyrics. They are instrumental quality of Maija's voice, let it ring like a flute lyrically and hauntingly or soar into heights like the northern lights. And she does it. Wonderfully. Her voice blends with other instruments, doubles, triples, suddenly becomes a chorus, changing color constantly. Here it is, in its beauty and flexibility, the incredible voice of Maija Hapuoja."
