Postage – Additional Information

•• Records will be shipped in a top quality cardboard record mailer complete with record stiffeners, or boxed (using specially purchased record cruciform mailers) for larger orders.

•• CD's will be shipped in a padded jiffy envelope.

•• Payment is to be made immediately after end of auction please.

•• All 2nd Class ‘Free’ Delivery orders will be grouped together with other ‘same postage’ orders –  please note, dispatch can therefore be between 3-4 days later, from payment received. For a faster, guaranteed next day dispatch please use the ‘1st Class’ postage option – this will guarantee you a much faster delivery service.

•• Proof of posting will be obtained for every package sent. The seller holds no responsibility for items lost or damaged once shipped, therefore I would advise on postage insurance where possible.

Vinyl Grading Explanation

DESCRIPTION

Mint

The record appears in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

The cover and any extra items are all also in tip top condition.

It basically means that it sat in my collection from new and never saw the light of day…until now!

Near Mint

The record appears in great condition virtually as new, although may have some very light surface markings (only really visible under bright light). I can however confirm that this is no way affects sound quality. It just means it may have been played a handful of times.

The cover and any extra items also appear in great condition, virtually as new.

Very Good

The record has noticeably been played before but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some noticeable surface marks and perhaps the occasional light scratch.

Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, obviously without any major defects is acceptable.

Good

The record has obviously been a past favourite of mine and as such has had some considerable use. The sound quality may have suffered slightly, although still plays without any jumps and minimal clicks/pops. This vinyl will have noticeable surface marks and perhaps (although not always) some distortion and mild scratches.

The cover and contents may also suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

Fair

I will only very rarely sell anything of this grade – although if I do it will signify that it was constantly in my DJ record box and subsequently looks like it’s been used very much on the regular. Please see the notes underneath the item description at the top of the page for full details on wear and tear.

Grading – Additional Information

Please note, all of these records are from my own personal collection, amassed from over 25 years of blood, sweat and some serious crate-digging. I can personally guarantee the validity of all my stock, including date of purchase, originality of pressing, re-issues etc.

I was a professional DJ (and self confessed vinyl junkie) for many years – so some of my music is well used, whilst a whole heap of it is basically untouched and as new – a lot of it was simply an ‘impulse purchase’ to add to the specific artist collection I was passionate about at that time. All of my records have been consistently stored in my record room/studio and stacked within professional MDF 'cubes’, especially made by ‘Spyder Box’ to maintain the best condition.

The majority of my records will be in ‘very good’ if not ‘mint’ condition – however I will be selling some vinyl that I used to play out at clubs regularly. I will be very honest about these items as I see no point in deceiving anyone about the incorrect condition of any of my collection.

If after your purchase you have any questions regarding the quoted grading of my vinyl, please email me. I will be happy to work through any issues with you to ensure it gets resolved in an amicable and timely manner.

New stock is being added regularly – check my other auctions for more great bargains!

I have an absolute mountain of vinyl that I will be selling over the coming months - genres include; RnB (past/present), Rap (Old Skool / New Skool), UK Garage, Classic Jungle, House/Dance, Soul/Funk/Boogie, Reggae/Dancehall across all vinyl formats.

I also have a huge collection of DJ friendly ‘Trackers’, ‘Party Breaks’ and ‘Bootleg Mash-Ups’. Specific collections include ‘Lethal Weapon’, ‘Top Secret’, ‘Club Bangaz’, ‘Heat’, ‘Strictly 4 the Dreads’, ‘Wicked Mix’, ‘AV8’, ‘Fat Wax’, ‘X-Mix’, ‘Buds’, ‘Fillin in the Gap’, ‘Classic Party Rockers’ and many, many more. Please enquire for more details.

If you have any request lists please feel free to email me – I’ll be happy to try and help.
