MAJIC SHIP self-titled original psychedelic rock / hard rock and pop-rock LP.
Labels are clean and free of wear. The vinyl is VISUALLY graded and looks VG++ (eBay calls this grade "Excellent"), AND we play graded those first 2 a-side tracks, and spot-checked the rest of all the tracks' intros, middle sections, and outros on both sides. The first & second A side tracks have minor random noise and a few repeating soft clicks caused by the scuff marks you can see in the photos, and the first B side track has a barely audible scuff in the middle (see photos).
The rest of the tracks on both sides sound great, but with very minor random unobtrusive surface noise audible on some quiet parts, intros, and outros.
The highs are crisp and the bass is excellent! Labels are clean. The majority of the rest of the tracks' surfaces on both sides look VG++, though there is an inaudible cosmetic stain across most of the a-side that is visible in our photo as a thin staining contained within the shadow that's reflected in our photo.
This is a killer LP that's been reissued on both vinyl and CD.
This original pressing has the Bell Sound logo machine stamped in the dead-wax, followed by some initials - see the photo.
The excellent condition jacket looks VG++ with nice semi-glossy lamination, and the spine and seams are intact. Three of the four corner points have minor wear, BOTH laminates are totally clean with NO wear. There's light yellowing on both sides near the opening edge.

All Music Guide: (Beginning as) "adolescent garage band THE PRIMITIVES, which played primitive covers of British Invasion tunes, the New Primitives came together in New York City in 1966, composed of high school friends: Ray Rifice (guitar), Tommy Nikosy (guitar), Rob Buckman (drums), and Mike Garrigan (vocals). The band increased in size to a group of five with the addition of bassist/organist Gus Riozzi. They kept a busy performance schedule throughout the next few years when their high school commitments allowed it. In 1968, Rifice left the band to attend college, but at about the same time, former 1950's crooner turned manager JOHNNY MANN saw the band live and promised to get them a recording contract. Philip Polimeni replaced Rifice on lead guitar, and the New Primitives became Majic Ship. Mann introduced the band to THE TOKENS, who produced their first single, "Night Time Music." It became a local hit, even gaining the band some national airplay, as did a second single, "Hummin." After much touring and a couple more singles, MAJIC SHIP found their way to a studio to record their self-titled debut album in the summer of 1969. Majic Ship melded hard rock, pop, and psychedelia in a way similar to fellow New Yorkers Vanilla Fudge, and also sounding like a cross between Blue Cheer and early Grand Funk Railroad. The band continued on for the next couple of years with plans to record a second album, but those plans were nixed when their shared house in Staten Island burned to the ground in 1971, taking with it all their recording equipment and instruments. Without any insurance, the band called it quits."
