A great opportunity to own a most collectible album. The celebrated artist Jim Flora designed the cover for "Mambo for Cats"; it has become an enduring classic.
This is the original mono album from 1955, not a re-release.
The music is an anthology of the intersection of jazz and mambo by some of the hottest bands of the era, including: Damiron, Don Elliott, Tony Martinez, Noro Morales, Perez Prado, and Al Romero.
The tracks include: Jazz Me Blues, The Sheik of Araby, Sweet Sue - Just You, Makin' Whoopee, Ballin' the Jack, Jersey Bounce, Fascinating Rhythm, Lullaby of Birdland, Mambo Jumps, St. Louis Blues Mambo, Love for Sale, and Muskrat Ramble Mambo.
