IN TRULY INCREDIBLE ALMOST 100% MINT CONDITION
RARE ORIGINAL UK SEPTEMBER 1969 1st ISSUE
SO HARD TO FIND IN TOP PRISTINE SHAPE LIKE THIS
thick, heavy, top quality earliest UK Dawn release
not the later white label issue with its more flexible disc,
when Dawn began being pressing their LPs on raspberry-coloured vinyl. . .
(often not noticeable unless held in front of bright light)
these mint surfaces have no scratches or hairlines
not even any of the lightest superficial paper traces
I bought this from a friend and long-time collector who only ever played side one, once
both labels are bright, sharp, clean and perfect
with rich, unfaded and unmarked deep orange colour
there is one extremely faint spindle trace to side two
(from that solitary play of side one)
beautiful matt unlaminated gatefold cover by Howards Printers of Slough
so much nicer than the laminated versions which are flimsy and consequently often tatty
this cover delights the eyes with incredible original vibrant colour
it looks like you just proudly carried it home from The Red Balloon Record Shop!
immaculate inside gatefold layout with cool, moody, band photos is absolutely as new
all seams, spine, opening edges, corners are perfect and as new
yes, the opening edges are amazing, razor-sharp
and the corners are perfectly square, sharp and as new
the spine is incredible
it is flat, square, smooth and snow-white, with crystal-clear jet-black titles
I would confidently describe this splendid cover as completely mint
wow, 100% mint and exactly as new
it still smells factory-fresh and brand new, and yet, incredibly, it is now
CLOSE TO 44 YEARS OLD
RECORD, LABELS, COVER
and original poly-lined inner sleeve
are all MINT
(except for that one tiny spindle trace to the side two label)
