Man : Revelation A1/B1 1st Press 1969 Pye Records

Time is against me so I will not be able to give my usual detailed description on the next few records.  However, I will still be playing every track in full so as to provide a 'complete' grade and will add a few notes on the audio, cover, inner sleeve etc.

This first pressing plays with very impressive audio and very little intrusion. 'And In the Beginning...' on S1 begins with a little interference - a couple of static 'swish' sounds and a handful of light ticks - but this soon disappears and then plays with very clear audio and barely any intrusion.  From 'Sudden Life' onwards the audio plays with great clarity for the vast majority.  A handful of light ticks and only the bare minimum of light background static for a few seconds on a couple of tracks.  The majority is Ex+ but much of it does play better than that.

'Blind Man' on S2 has only minimal light static at the start and then plays very clearly with only one light click.  The rest of side plays with great quality overall with very little intrusion.  A little static on a couple of tracks and one light click but there are many sections that do play with Near Mint quality.  However, I would say Ex+ is a fair assessment of the audio overall.

The vinyl has no actual scratches but does have some hairlines and a couple on S2 that are more obvious.  However, they have no affect on the audio.  It has some spindle wear so has certainly been played a number of times but the record is by no means in poor condition.  As you can the majority does play with very strong audio.

The laminated cover is in very good close to excellent condition.  The bottom edge has a couple of 'rubs' but the top edge and spine are very clean with barely any wear.  The bottom two corners have some light wear with even less on the top two.  The front cover is very clean with only a small number of creases next to the spine and the unlaminated back cover has only a couple of faint marks.  The flipbacks are still firmly attached to the cover with barely any marking on the edges.  This was obviously a 'mono' cover at some point until a STEREO NSPL sticker was put on it top right.  The original 'Plastic Bags...' inner is in excellent condition with no side splits, minimal creasing and and only a small number of 'spots' and age related fading.
