Here's a copy of MANCE LIPSCOMB'S TEXAS SHARECROPPER AND SONGSTER.  It's from 1960, F1001.  This early pressing will take you back.  LIPSCOMB was a folk/blues artist that never had the opportunity to record his music.  That was until the mighty performance of Muddy Waters at Newport Jazz Festival in 1959, a performance that opened the floodgates for all other blues artists to have opportunities to record their music.  Mance was born Beau de glen Lipscomb in 1895.  His story is that of Black Americana.  His French name indicates his ancestry was that of Chattel slavery from the French capturing blacks in the war of the Spanish Succession in the early 1700's.  It was likely that his forbearers wound up in Louisiana, and music passed down through the Chattel slaves, and family.  Music that in general,  would eventually point to American Jazz.  His father, an ex-slave from Alabama, and his mother was mulatto, meaning that a woman in her ancestry was raped by her white owners.  Mance, a name given to him is short for emancipation.  Southern blacks after emancipation, slaves were allowed freedom, and many took their few belongings, and left the south. That is likely how Mance wound up in Navasota Texas.  
This LP was his first release, and this is an original 1960 pressing in beautiful NEAR MINT CONDITION.  It includes the original pamphlet and lyrics.  An amazing copy.

SS    = (STILL SEALED) The record itself is in brand new condition, assumed never to have been played.

M      = (MINT)  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, 
booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

M -    = (MINT MINUS)  MINT- is not MINT but is very close to it, near new, there might be a blemish or two, but overall record and jacket are like new or very close to new.

EX     = (EXCELLENT)  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight 
wear and / or creasing. 

VG    = (VERY GOOD)  The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the
occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G      = (GOOD)  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and 
contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

F       = (FAIR)  The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will 
be torn, stained and / or defaced.

P       = (POOR)  The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

B       = (BAD)  The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler
