"This is an Amazing album. The Spriguns previous LP 'Time Will Pass' is also really good, but 'Magic Lady' is their masterpiece. The title track "Magic Lady" is dedicated to the late Sandy Denny, which is really nice. Originally only 1000 copies were pressed, but Akarma did a wonderful reissue a few years ago. The reissue was only about 1000 as well and the first 500 of those were on Opaque Blue Vinyl. It might be hard to track down a copy of this LP but it is worth the effort if you are a fan of British Folk-Rock and/or Acid-Folk. Comparable to the very best material from Fairport Convention, the Trees, Steeleye Span, or even Comus (though a lot less scary and murderous). This should be considered a heavy-weight in the genre and an essential classic. I was a fan of Mandy Morton & the Spriguns, and it took me a long while to track this down, but it surpassed all my expectations." - Rate Your Music.
This is the Mandy Morton & Spriguns "Magic Lady" vinyl lp record reissued by Akarma Records in 2004. The record features thirteen tracks. The record is pressed on blue vinyl and packaged in an embossed card sleeve with a white paper inner sleeve and a hexagonal card inlay sheet. The record plays perfectly and has only a few tiny surface marks that I can detect . The sleeve has some minimal wear: some small scuffs & marks here & there and the edges are a little bashed, but no rips or tears. This album was released in a limited edition of only 1000 copies so don't miss your chance to grab a collectable item at a bargain price. This item would make a welcome addition to any Mandy Morton/ Spriguns Of Tolgus/ Sandy Denny/ Steeleye Span/ Fairport Convention/ Comus/ Pentangle/ progressive/ psychedelic folk/ etc fan's collection!
