••• TOTALLY TRIPPED OUT PROGGY JAMS FROM PSYCH ERA INCARNATION OF THE GROUP. After the break-up of the "pop" Manfred Mann group, things got decidedly more weird & whacked & fuzzed & trippy as heard on this sought after 1969 album featuring kill big beat / swirling psych organ & distorted guitars on "Travelling Lady" and the absolutely wicked "Snakeskin Garter" along with extended 7 minute jammer "Time." IN DEMAND PSYCH TITLE.

- cover is thick heavy cardboard with color printed pasted on slicks

CONDITION:
VINYL = STRONG VG+ Sleeve scuff/rubbing, light hairlines visible under bright halogens. The labels are EX.
PLAY GRADE = STRONG VG++ or better Very light hiss or crackle between tracks & lightly audible in some backgrounds to varying degree mostly in quieter sections, LOUD MUSIC EASILY OVERPOWERS WITH HUGE BOLD DEEP BOOMING FIDELITY.
COVER = STRONG VG+ Light storage or handling / rubbing or a few small streaks/impressions, some very mild ring rub front & back, some creasing near edges & corners, hole punch, COLORFUL CLEAN BOLD BRIGHT. The edge seams have some light rub through color but are SOLID NO SPLITS, SPINE LEGIBLE. Corners have some soft rub or light dents or rounding/creasing.

In June 1969 Manfred Mann pop group disbanded after 5 ½ years of successfully making hit records.
Manfred Mann Chapter 3 was formed by Manfred Mann and Mike Hugg, who had originally for the Manfred Mann pop group in 1963.
This L.P. was recorded between June and October 1969 in the Old Kent Road and represents in general what we personally have been wanting to do for some years.
