Description
A great opportunity to buy a RARE FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP from the 1970s by Manfred Mann Chapter Three called "Manfred Mann Chapter Three Volume 2".
This is a U.K. pressing released in 1970 on the Vertigo label (6360 012) and has 7 tracks (see photos for track listings).
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- 6360 012 1Y // 1 420 11 5(?) (side one) and 6360 012 2Y // 1 420 11 5 (side two).
The vinyl is in a clean and shiny VERY GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are a few light surface marks evident, but nothing serious. I have played the whole of both sides and apart from a few revolutions of clicks at the end of track one on side one, they play fine and sound great.
The labels are clean and free from any writing, stickers or major defects. There are faint spindle marks on the centre of the labels, noticeable when tilted towards the light.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The vinyl is housed within its original poly-lined SWIRL inner sleeve in a GOOD condition considering its age. It has a number written in the top corner and has creasing and fading due to age.
The gatefold picture cover is in a VERY GOOD condition overall. The edges and spine are still quite strong though there is some light shelf wear on parts of the spine, edges and in the corners. There is a date written on the front at the top and a number written in the top corner on the back. There is also a very small surface tear on the front, where possibly a small sticker has been removed. The inside of the gatefold is clean and undamaged.
This is a highly collectable Progressive Rock LP and should be of interest to avid collectors.
