Released in 1969 on the VERTIGO spiral / swirl label, I am offering today this Original first UK pressing of this progressive classic album by MANFRED MANN titled "CHAPTER THREE".
The album is a very rare first pressing with the PHILIPS credit at the bottom of the label not an easy album to find these days.
The matt gatefold sleeve is showing some edge & ring wear but overall is very respectable.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and apart from a few light ticks at the start of side one and a handful of light pops on side two it plays through nicely. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc. A nice playing examples of this Vertigo classic.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks very good. It looks clean but shows some light scratches. Audibly I have just played it through and can state that it plays with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc but did notice a handful of pops and ticks. Overall this is a decent playing example.
The SLEEVE, The gatefold sleeve is in reasonably clean condition but is showing some wear to the edges and some ring wear and the spine is no longer legible.
The LABELS, The Vertigo spiral swirl labels are very clean. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc, and there is the Philips credit which were only on the initial release
The INNER, The generic poly lined inner sleeve is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
