On offer here is a VERY rare EP (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Instrumental Asylum" by Manfred Mann and is a 1966 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press HMV label!!!! THIS EP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! IT IS EASILY MANFRED MANNS RAREST EVER EP - AND ONLY SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS ON RELEASE!!!! IT IS ALSO VERY SOUGHT AFTER AS IT FEATURES JACK BRUCE - WHO SOON AFTERWARDS LEFT THE BAND AND JOINED CREAM WITH ERIC CLAPTON & GINGER BAKER!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS EP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS THE 1966 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS HMV LABEL, AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK COVER!!!! THIS EP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press HMV label and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The Cat No is 7EG 8949.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! The record is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s EPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 light hairlines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! The vinyl also has a faint 'sheen' to it - though this is only visible under EXTREME light!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! There is also a VERY slight touch of brief background sound (NOT groovewear) on the A side run on groove and first few revolutions of the first track - though the rest of the record has virtually NONE!!!! There is NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The 1st Press Laminated Flipback Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, VERY shiny laminate, only a few light creases (cover is still flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS EP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND IS EASILY THE RAREST EVER MANFRED MANN EP - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
