MANFRED MANN SOUL OF MANN HI-FI MONO ODEON! UNIQ CVR! 1N/1N! RARE CHILEAN PRESS!.


MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original very first High Fidelity MONO press released, made and distributed in Chile in 1968 by INDUSTRIAS ELECTRICAS Y MUSICALES ODEON S.A. (Odeon Records Chile), with bright red/silver Odeon Records labels, catalog number LDC-36661, with matrix numbers: 2XEA 3116-1 (“1” inverted) in Side A and 2XEA 3117-1 1 (“1” inverted) in Side B.


“SOUL OF MANN” was originally released in 1967 in the UK but we have to wait until 1968 to see this record released here in Chile. It has a UNIQUE COVER and with MONO sound!!! Yes!!! In Chile the cover is made of two single sheets of heavy paper (or thin cardboard) kept together by an outer plastic bag which’s part of the cover. Front cover keeps strictly the original artwork with the EMI and ODEON logos at the bottom left corner in two single white boxes. Back cover is different, it has the same artwork that front cover but only with black and white color, with EMI and ODEON logos boxed together at the side of the mouth and tracklist of Side A and B next to each cheek of the burning skull, written in Spanish, translated to English, with full credits for songwriters. This rare release is one of the albums issued in Chile for the “SERIE ESTELAR” of Odeon Records and in the back cover at the bottom right corner is the “Serie Estelar” logo with the catalog number. In labels the album title is written in English only and the tracklist is also written in English only, with full credits for songwriters. So, here you have the chance to own this MEGARARE press of “SOUL OF MANN” by Manfred Mann, with an UNIQUE COVER and extremely rare MONO sound.


The Plastic cover has a few small holes and tears in as photographed. The vinyl record is in great condition with very few minor marks or scratches.
