'ITS THE VINYL COUNTDOWN'

Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly PRIZED A//3 B//1 pressing  with the STAMPED MATRIX NUMBERS - Stored from new this LP has seen possibly A COUPLE OF CAREFUL plays only, and remains in pristine condition everywhere.

SIMPLY AS GOOD AS IT GETS HERE..

This  pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all like this.

We can see maybe a couple of tiny spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

SURPLUS WAX AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE.

There are a few light whisp lines, and thats it-  nothing else!  No scratches or marks.  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, and therefore there are a few little dust specs on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On playing through we heard Nbarely the lightest static in the opening dead grooves ...possibly the odd dust pop which will not sound next time through we doubt.

Yes...the whole record plays quite superb. TIME CAPSULE!

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE LABELS   MINT-  FLAT MATT LABELS

THE SLEEVE     EX+

Correct LOW GLOSS first UK issued earliest sleeve  - with square PROUD spine.

This is in SUPER condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean.  A very hard record to track down, and most copies we do see are not this press..which has the inner sleeve and heavy bronze vinyl.

The edges are all super clean with just some fine traces of rub, in a few spots and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

No  ringwear -Just  light ring press only. there is some light press on the seam edges top and bottom.

The open edge remains in super sharp shape, a few tiny feather spots, and there are a couple of light thumb creases on the cover..

The spine edge is 100% sharp and no squash or rub at all,  a few tiny little rub spots only

There  are a couple of tiny feint spider lines on the edges -

We cannot add any more than this! it's a cracker.

THE INNER SLEEVE   MINT-

Original and rare thick card lyric inner..absolutely pristine like new..no wear at all./

The inyl is in original pat printed poly liner inside the sleeve too.
