THIS IS A RARE MISPRESS FROM THE FIRST BATCH PRESSED - A TRUE COLLECTOR'S ITEM

BRAND NEW BUT HAS BEEN OPENED TO CHECK THAT IT IS THE MISPRESSED BOXSET. STILL CONTAINED IN ORIGINAL CELLOPHANE WRAPPING.


Manics very rare 20th Anniversary reissue of their classic and groundbreaking album The Holy Bible presented in a 12" x 12" box contains the vinyl LP remastered by James Dean Bradfield and Tim Young pressed on 180gram Vinyl. Housed in a gatefold sleeve with four CDs inserted into the sleeve each housed in a cutout which is on the gatefold sleeve. Also includes a 40 page 12" x 12" book. The four CDs contain the following.


CD1 THE HOLY BIBLE (REMASTERED)

CD2 THE HOLY BIBLE (US MIX (REMASTERED))

CD3 B-SIDES

CD4 LIVE AT THE ASTORIA 1994 PLUS ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCES FROM 2014. 


The forty page book contains rare photos plus handwritten notes and lyrics by Richey. 


180 gm vinyl plus 4 CDs including a live concert recorded at London Astoria in December 1994 and Maide Vale session tracks from September 1994, all featuring Richie before he went missing.


This is the "first run". 4st 7lb is listed as the last track on side A on the centre labels but is pressed at position B7. This fact was communicated to those who pre-ordered the album by email: "Information regarding 'The Holy Bible' 20th Anniversary Edition: To improve and enhance audio quality, the song "4st 7lbs" has been moved to track 1 on side 2 of the LP. It was a last minute decision so those lucky people receiving the first run of 'Holy Bible' box sets will be getting a rare collectors edition where the tracklisting shows "4st 7lbs" as the last track on side 1 (as per the original 1994 vinyl cut)."
Track positions are listed sequentially on the front of the box, on the front cover of the LP gatefold sleeve and in the box set's insert showing the tracklist and trackpositions of each track on each piece of media. However, the incorrectly printed face label lists the tracks 1 to 6 for side A and 1 to 7 for side B.
