Here is the limited edition PICTURE DISC of Manic Street Preacher's 1994 masterpiece "The Holy Bible"! The soundquality of this release is not really great - the vinyl itselfs has the sarcastic comment it was "... not (...) compareable to that of a conventional disc". So true but since this is the only vinyl version there is you'll either have to accept it or switch to CD.
Bought in 1994, played once or twice and stored ever since. The stickered plasticsleeve has some wrinkles but no seamsplit or tears and can be graded as conservative VG+. The insert is VG++ with no stains. The vinyl itself is hard to grade visually - since I know the history of this copy I can say it is Very Good++. Since I mistrust plastic sleeves I even put it in an extra polylinered inner. The sound is something else: Some parts play with a lot of surface noise, others with only a few. I must confess that upon first playing it, I took it back to the store only to be informed that this is what ALL copies would sound like. So they offered me to return it but I deceided to keep it.Because it IS really awesome looking.
Anyway: a nice collectable for fans of this band. By the way: I chose 69 Pound as price because recently this has been fetching 70+. If you are not happy with my price make me an offer and we can talk about it. I just don't want to let this go for free because this is an item that will increase it's value over the years. Why? Easy: It's an acclaimed album and EVEN IF they deceide to repress it sometime in the future I doubt that they will do so as a Picture Disc.
