"MANIFESTION" music by John William Malott 1962 (says this on cover slick) PRIVATE PRESSING / TEST PRESSING 1982?....(SEE PHOTO'S)....THICK VINYL : VG+ ( very thick vinyl looks clean, but old . Plays VG / VG- a little static, Test Pressings wear out during each play.I played once.There are two quick skips on side 2. Hardly noticable.)....LABELS: VG (only one label which was hand glued to disc.Two drill holes in center .See photo)...COVER: VG+ (plain white blank sleeve with slick hand glued to front with smaller piece glued to back)...Incredible, over the top album.. side #1. has long suite of Electronic, Jazz, Psych and Rock instrumental music! THE ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS USED on this TEST PRESSING PRE-DATE 1970's .There are some undespicherable spoken words due to wierd effects on the voice. Some nice freeform lead guitar in places with other traditional instruments used. Vibes, drums, electric guitar, sax, electric bass,etc, etc.Also, unusual electronic sounds. SIDE #2. Acoustic guitar with effects into a long freeform Jazz piece on Acoustic piano (7:00) into a 1:00 of electric bass organ and rock/jazz druming segueing into an amazing 5:00 DRUM SOLO to end the album. JOHN WILLIAM MALOTT plays on the 1976 MIKE SELESIA album "Flavor"..Incredible early electronic sounds as well as freeform jazz excursions! THIS IS A RARE LOST GEM !
This RARE One of a kind TEST PRESSING album with hand made mock-up cover, may have NEVER been RELEASED .IN 35 YEARS OF COLLECTING I HAVE NEVER SEEN , nor HEARD OF THIS LP...
I pulled this listing earlier after hearing two quick skips on side 2 of my cd, to more accuratly detail listing. Sorry, just wanted to clear and honest about condition.
