Comments @ MAQUINA - WHY? - ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING - DIABOLO S 26033 (SPAIN, 1970). ULTRARARE ORIGINAL COPY OF GREAT SPANISH HEAVY ACID/PSYCH WITH AMAZING FUZZ GUITAR ASSAULTS AND LONG TRACKS ALL OVER. On offer the legendary debut album by catalan psyche-progsters Màquina! This album is a must for anyone into european psychedelic and progressive rock, a true classic that features the astonishing 25 minute performance of the title track, a perfect mix between the Hammond sound of Brian Auger and the freak out improvisation concept of the early Soft Machine. An orgy of Hammond, fuzz and wah wah guitars, drums... It has everything needed to blow your mind!

The album also features the opening track I BELIEVE, an instrumental beauty led by the guitar of Josep Mª Paris, one of the best guitarists from Catalonia who had just joined the band during the recording sessions for this album. 

Closing this little gem LET ME BE BORN mixes some experimental music with the pop of The Beatles proving that there ain't a weak track here! 

This is the mega rare pressing from 1970 on Diábolo. The sleeve shows some wear but is still more than nice. The vinyl shows some marks but it's all shiny and the playing is not affected by any scratches or major drops. Very difficult to find in this excellent condition! 

And it comes in the great surrealistic croissant sleeve designed by band singer/bassman/co-leader Jordi Batiste, a work that was praised by none other than the master of surrealism Dalí himself!
