Even if its got little to do with the Glam Rock sound for which he was known and loved this comprehensive Compilation recorded in his pre-T. REX days, (37 tracks, recorded late 1966-summer 1967) is an essential look at an important period of time in Bolans career, helping to understand the origins of his music. As his Manager Simon Napier-Bell once said it was Bolans voice, even in these early days, that convinced him that Bolan would become a Star.
