Condition of Vinyl:- Both sides of the disc show some wear , with some marks evident . The sound is overall fine, with noise here and there. Carefully graded at overall VERY GOOD condition.

A very hard to find original UK Testpress LP , housed in a white card sleeve........................

Notes: Marc Bolan (vocals, guitar, Moog); Gloria Jones (vocals, Clavinet); Dino Dines (organ, keyboards); Steve Currie (bass); Davey Lutton (drums).Additional personnel: Tyrone Scott (vocals); Paul Fenton (drums); Jimmy Haskell.Recorded at MRI Studios, Hollywood, California. By the mid-'70s, Marc Bolan's T. Rex had fallen on hard times. Bolan, who remained the essential element in the band, began experimenting with soul/funk sounds and collaborating with his wife, singer Gloria Jones, with mixed results. While 1976's FUTURISTIC DRAGON didn't hit the charts as hard as T. Rex's earlier classics ELECTRIC WARRIOR, SLIDER, and TANX had, it finds Bolan back on track. "New York City" turned out to be one of Bolan's final U.K. hits before his untimely death one year later. Other highlights include the orchestrated instrumental "Theme for a Dragon," and the upbeat power pop of "Chrome Sitar."

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I realize the requirements in the gradings of sleeves and discs , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised in listings , I notice many sellers on eBay using the buzzwords 'Stunning' , 'Superb' , 'Awesome' 'etc etc etc...... and have grossly long-winded descriptions by these 'experts' with sometimes technical information added , which is totally unrelated and untrue to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for for the fact that it is misleading........................

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice....)
