Description
Fully play-tested: The vinyl remains glossy and there are no obvious significant scratches, but there is some light scuffing (likely from the tight paper inner sleeves common in this era). This results in occasional light crackles during the quiet moments, mostly between tracks. The most noticeable crackles during the music are a bit during the first verse of Walking in Memphis. I've included a video clip of that moment, which is the weakest you might hear during the whole record. However, these minor crackles are never prominent and never overwhelm the music. Many songs sound NM. Thus, this grades as EX or strong VG++.
The album jacket is in NEAR MINT condition. There is a tiny bit of creasing and a small amount of sticker residue on the back (upper right corner). No cutouts, stains, promo marks, writing, or other obvious flaws.
The lyric inner sleeve is in beautiful NEAR MINT condition.
This pressing is imported from Germany and it is extremely well-mastered. A great pressing. I have another copy of this same pressing (which is the only reason I'm selling this one). All labels/writings/lyrics are in English. Most audiophiles will tell you that these German pressings were the best anywhere in the late 80's/early 90s.
The vinyl has been cleaned, handled with audiophile gloves (not hands), and stored and ships in an audiophile-quality anti-static inner sleeve. I also always store and ship albums in a protective 3 mil. plastic sleeve to keep these precious albums in excellent condition. This costs me a bit more, but it's worth it to ensure a high-quality record stays as pristine as possible.
Rest assured that you are buying this from a fellow fan who loves this album (I'm only selling it because I have multiple copies) and has fully listened to it and fairly graded. I want to respect your purchase and make sure this record is appreciated by the next owner.
