E’ uno dei più inusuali album di musica cristiana, eseguito con particolari effetti, musiche e canzoni, appropriati al racconto di un treno in viaggio per l’Aldilà: due synthesyzer ARP 2600, eminent organ, electric piano, chitarra classica.
This has to be one of the most unusual Christian albums of all time: its subtitle is "Racconto Psicofonico dall'Aldilà" (a Psycho-Phonic tale from the Otherworld), and it's full of weird effects and songs, appropriate for this tale of a train that goes to the Otherworld: two synthesyzers ARP 2600, eminent organ, electric piano, classic guitar.

Marcello Giombini (1928-2003) è stato uno dei più prolifici ed inusuali compositori italiani. Ha composto oltre cento colonne sonore, qualche disco di musica contemporanea e d'avanguardia ed oltre 300 canzoni in ambito religioso, per le quali è forse più conosciuto. Il suo LP più noto è la prima messa beat in assoluto ("La Messa dei giovani") del 1966, che precede di ben tre anni la notissima Mass in F minor del gruppo americano Electric Prunes. Ha fra l’altro composto una serie di brani per Messa da requiem, in chiave moderna sia per musiche che per testi, raccolti nel rarissimo LP: "Non dobbiamo essere tristi come chi non ha speranza". www.marcellogiombini.it.
Marcello Giombini (1928-2003) was one of the most prolific and unusual Italian musicians. He composed more than a hundred soundtracks for movies, a few vanguard/contemporary classical music records and more than 300 of religious christian pieces, for which he is most fondly remembered. His marvellous was the first beat mass in the religious music history (Italian edition: "Messa dei Giovani" on 1966; US edition: "The Mass for Peace" by The Berets on 1969), that predates of about three years the Mass in F minor by Axelrod's Electric Prunes. He composed a series of pieces for Requiem Mass too, with modern musics and lyrics, recorded in the very rare LP “Non dobbiamo essere tristi come chi non ha speranza” (We don't have to be sad like who is without hope). www.marcellogiombini.it.
