Description
A 1963 UK Stereo copy of Maria Callas - Callas A Paris. Released on the red Columbia Long Play label, SAX 2503.
The record has been Degritter cleaned and is spotlessly clean with a lovely glossy lustre. Some light paper scuffs visible and a hairline on Side 2 across parts of Track 2-3 ( see photos). Lovely clean labels and spindle holes with one or two faint spindle trails. Graded VG+
We played this to test. It plays through as it should with pure, clear sound quality. Some light noise in parts, typical for vinyl of this vintage. We paid particular attention to the hairline on Side 2 - this played through with some clicks over the affected area but no jumping or sticking.
The flipback laminate sleeve is solid & sturdy, very clean with minor creasing but no laminate lift. Lovely readable spine. No splits, writing, stains, tape or tears.
The 6 page insert/booklet is also present & in excellent condition.
The record will be sent separated out in an archival outer sleeve to prevent transit splits.
