Description

Experience the magic of Maria Callas in this super rare collector's 2 LP set featuring Gaetano Donizetti's masterpiece, Lucia di Lammermoor.

Both discs and all four sides are all in great condition, with no obvious marks of any kind. Clearly these have been well looked after. The only marks are to the dead wax on the second disc but no marks to the playing surface. Excellent (EX) grading but the playing surfaces are all as close to near mint as I've seen.

The sleeve is also very high quality. Showing only slight signs of age to the covers and spine but overall well looked after. Graded as VG+ due to some writing to the rear but the front covers are both great.

Recorded in the 1950s, this rare set comes with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Tullio Serafin. The Italian-language opera is a must-have for any vinyl collector and is a testament to the timeless art of classical music. Catalogue numbers SAX2316 and SAX2317 (repress) from Columbia Records make this a unique and super rare addition to your collection.
