beautiful deluxe, two-volume boxset with a total of 20 vinyl records as released by INTERNATIONAL MUSIC OF ITALY (IMI) on "GLI DEI DELLA MUSICA" label ... catalognumbers are DMC-01/20. Again: you are bidding on two boxes with 10LPs each!! The packaging is one of a kind: all records are housed in gold foldout covers, with hand-painted photos on the covers, and with complete Italian lyrics, plot, and historical notes.  The LPs themselves are recorded with superb audiophile soundquality and stunning dynamics. The selections chosen on each record are of Callas' best moments - I must say this is the best Callas boxset I have seen in many years. This set was well taken care of over the years: both boxes, the twenty hardcover picture sleeves, and all vinyl are 'AS NEW' in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition with clean labels and no spindlemarks - perfect!!  Looks unplayed... For fans of e.g. wideband DECCA SXL, 'shaded dog' RCA Living Stereo, 'Living Presence' Mercury SR, 'red stereo' Deutsche Grammophon, 'HI-FI Stereo' Philips, EMI, HMV, UHQR, MFSL, Speakers Corner, Classic Records, DCC, Testament, Westminster, Fontana, Columbia SAX Coup d'Archet ...etc.   ...see photo.
