MARIA TIPO / DOMENICO SCARLATTI: 12 Sonatas on Vox PL 9940 from 1956 / in EX

Domenico Scarlatti, Maria Tipo ?– 12 Sonatas

THE VINYL :  I play-graded this hard to find Maria Tipo release, as the LP suface has some discolouration and I felt it necessary to judge the audio quality. I put it at EX for both sides. There are a few hairline marks, but neither they nor the discolouration detract very much.

It is lightly played with minimal spindlewear, and the LP surface retains much of its original gloss. The mono audio has some intermittent, soft, background noise noise, but the considerable talents of Maria are well heard.

The LP carries 1A / 1B Stampers.


THE COVER :  VG :  Some edgewear / partial seam split of the top seam and 20% of the spine / faint ringwear / minor scuffing / good colour (see photos) / no writing.

Vox produced tight covers is this era, but I have placed the LP into a smaller plastic sleeve.
