Marianne Faithfull’s third (and in my opinion greatest) album. A hugely rare and sought after release it its first MONO UK release. An absolutely beautiful record that plays fantastically.

The front of the sleeve is really beautiful. There is some very slight laminate creases and some very slight ring wear but that’s it. The rear of the sleeve shows some slight discolouration due to age but no nasty staining. The name ‘Wal’ is written in blue in on the back top left hand corner and there is the stamp of the record shop from which the record was brought. The spine is robust and true with no flattening or breaks.It is super rare to find this sleeve in this sort of condition with no splitting, scuffing or staining. This is very close to an EX grading.

Visually, there are a couple of superficial scuff marks on the record. These are not scratches. The record retains its sheen and deep lustre. I was expecting the record to show some deterioration in sound quality due to its age but is sounds ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. There are no clicks or pops and no frying. I was genuinely amazed by the sound quality of this record as so many from this era, although visually in excellent condition show significant deterioration in sound quality. THIS DOES NOT AND SO IS THE BEES KNEES. A fantastic experience.
