Description
The record you are considering is a US ORIGINAL 1970 PROMO copy of QUEENIE MARIE LYONS's one and only LP titled "Soul Fever".
A holy grail of funk music the album is stunning, every bit as great as any of Marie's singles, and with an incredibly unified sound that should have made the album an instant soul classic as soon as it was released.
Plus, some of the tracks on the set were written by a young Don Pullen, who supposedly also played on the record -- in a rare funk appearance in his pre-avant jazz days. Includes a funky remake of "Fever"

CONDITION:
Cover is Near MINT!!, NO cut corners or punch holes! PROMO sticker right top. Slightest hint of corner and bottom edge wear. Back is showing a good amount of age spotting in kind of a ring pattern. Edges strong!! Front NM, back VG+ to VG++
Vinyl is a VG++ to Near MINT!! Plays the same! or better!!!

The COLLECTION is probably from a BLACK RADIO distributor. Most are PROMO's!! Strong numbers of certain labels. Few Motown.
R&B, SOUL, FUNK, BLUES, JAZZ, COMEDY, GOSPEL and related items!!! Other than the SOUL and R&B, they were played likely once or twice!!
