Marillion : Best Of Both Worlds 1989 - Present 2 x Picture Discs
For this auction I am selling a number of Fish/Marillion records and the vast majority of them have been incredibly well preserved. I am moving house soon and I want to 'shift' a lot of my stock quickly so unfortunately do not have the time to describe each track in detail as I generally do.
This very collectable 2 x picture disc features tracks from the Hogarth era and was released in 1997 as part of the EMI 100 centenary housed in two separate pvc clear sleeves. The discs are pressed on heavyweight vinyl and they are both visually stunning with no marks or scratches and I cannot locate any hairlines either, they are immaculate. They have very probably never been played which is how it should be with picture discs of course.
It is well known that picture discs do not play as well as standard vinyl and as such I will not give them an audio grade. However, I have played excerpts from every track and I can confirm the audio is of a superb standard with only very minimal light static, the clarity is very impressive.
The die-cut cardboard cover just has some rubbing on the edges and a little wear on the corners but otherwise remains in excellent condition. The clear sleeves are in great shape with just one very small side split in one of them.

THEY ARE ALSO PLACED INSIDE A PVC SLEEVE TO PROVIDE EXTRA PROTECTION.
