All records are visually graded by the Goldmine Standard, unless stated they have been play tested! Goldmine's grading system has been the industry standard for decades now, and if you are not familiar with their criteria, this can be found by a simple online search of "Goldmine Grading". To help simplify descriptions, if there are any marks deep enough to feel on the records playing surface or damage to the labels, inner sleeves or covers, then these are the only exceptions that are mentioned! Otherwise, whatever overall grade they are given does fit into the criteria for that grade within Goldmine's grading scale. Also, to clear up a discrepancy between Goldmine and eBay's incorrect breakdown of grades, Very Good Plus (VG+) and Excellent (E, or eBay's "EX") are the same grade, not separate grades! As this has been creating confusion within the market for years now, I thought it to be worth mentioning, and this is the case with Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) and Excellent Plus (E+), which is often used as an in-between grade for records with playing surfaces straying towards the higher end of a VG+ or E grade, where minimal superficial wear is all that separates them from being a solid NM (M-). I do not grade anything NM (M-) unless it has extremely minimal superficial wear and the record has seen very little play at the most, and I have never graded anything M, even if still sealed, as there is no way of knowing if sealed records are free of defects!
