GRADING Our Grading System
The table below is an overview of how our grading system works. The first grade is for the sleeve and second grade is for the media/disc, e.g. VG+/EX means that the item's sleeve is in Very Good Plus condition and the media/disc is in Excellent condition.
If there is only one condition, e.g. /EX, it means that the item is not in a picture sleeve and that the media/disc is in excellent condition. Records that aren't in picture sleeves will either be in a company sleeve or a generic plain sleeve. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

PackagingAll of our items are parcelled using strong specially designed packaging, each vinyl in an order is placed in a clear plastic sleeve and plain paper white sleeve, and is separated from its cover (unless it is advertised as sealed), to prevent any damage during transit. If an item is sealed, and you would prefer the vinyl to be placed outside of its sleeve before dispatch, please let us know.

Asked by the producers to compose a copycat score of John Williams' Jaws, composer Mark Isham bravely produced the opposite. He steered clear from genre defining sharp orchestral motifs and stabbing dissonances, and instead immersed himself in 80s cutting edge electronics and samples. The result was an emotionally cold and beautiful score, an audio landscape depicting evil and impending doom, the dust and fog of a lonely desert road. With its industrial beats, ambient synth washes and spaced Jazzy motifs, the score was on the forefront of a new genre in horror music scoring and has since achieved cult status.
âTechnically the music business was in a crossroads and new instruments and new instrument technologies were appearing every day. I availed myself of this ânewâ technology of âsamplingâ and brought in two drummers who played only originally sampled drums. I was still using my early system of a Prophet 5, an Oberheim 4 voice and my ARP 2600. To this I added this new keyboard, a Prophet 2000 (sampler). This was the âbandâ! â Mark Isham
This genre defining electronic score has been unavailable for close to 30 years and now the first ever official vinyl release will be made available as a Record Store Day 2022 Limited Edition.

If you wish to receive a sealed copy of a new release item please check that we have one available before placing your order. If a sealed copy isn't available we may be able to order another copy in for you. If you would prefer for sealed items to be removed from their sleeves to avoid seam splits and sleeve damage in transit, then please let us know and we will arrange this.
