Before Mark Levinson, the man, got into audio gear in a big (and famous) way, he was involved in the production of some wonderful acoustic series recordings - this ebay item is one of them. These LPs were known as "Mark Levinson Acoustic Recording Series," were made in France and in many ways, remind us of the wonderful Harmonia Mundi LPs made in that same country. In every sense of the word, these are glorious recordings, real audiophile spectaculars, not in terms of bombastic sound, but of detail and accuracy in the recording.If we didn't have other copies of these records in our personal LP collection, we wouldn't be selling these! They belong in every audiophiles music collection!

CONDITION Details:
The GATE-FOLD LP jacket is in Near MINT minus condition. As collectors of this record label should know, some of the Levinson LPs were issued in a textured cardboard jacket and inner sleeve. The jacket is somewhat flimsy and usually has wear along the corners and seams due to the weakness and material used to make the jacket. This jacket is tight and clean, with just slight shelf wear at the corners and seams. In fantastic condition, especially given it's age. There are no tears, bends or splits. Best of all, it also has both the inner sleeves that are made of the same textured cardboard as the outer jacket.
The LPs are in MINT minus condition! The vinyl retains most of the original gloss and sheen, almost like new records! The LPs have no marks on them, obviously well taken care of. NO spindle marks either. This is the near mint copy you have always wanted in your collection - any audiophile would be happy with this one!A Short Note About LP GRADING -
- Mint = Only used for sealed items.
- Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
- Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
- Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
- Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.
For best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.
The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
