N- New Minus = A carefully played record, with few signs of usage; minor paper scuffs, light handling marks are superficial and inaudible.
EX+ - Excellent Plus = a record that has been played more often, still provides near complete musical enjoyment throughout the record. Any surface noise is brief and unobtrusive.
EX - Excellent = a record that has been played quite often, shows some visible surface wear, but still retains enjoyable audio quality.
VG+ - Very Good Plus - a used record, light to moderate surface wear in spots, still listenable/playable, no heavy wear.
Jackets are Similar in grade to the record, variations are noted.
