Legendary 1976 Audiophile release, the second Mark Levinson title, grey label pressed in France. On the TAS (The Absolute Sound) List of exceptional recordings. This one features Lois Shapiro playing Ravel's "Valses Nobles et Sentimentales" and Haydn's "Piano Sonata no.49" performed on the Mark Allen Concert Grand.
Textured Oversize sleeve is in great shape save for the top being bent forward. Inner sleeve is like new. Vinyl also like new and plays beautifully.

Review: Suffice it to say that it is one of a handful of very well-respected records that came out of the high-end audiophile launch in the U.S. during the early to late '70s.
Fact is, to say that Mr. Levinson is among that elite corps is to misunderstand that, in fact, he led the way. From setting up the mics right on through to pressing this record, every level of care was taken. The result, in your living room, will quite astound you. (Just be sure to get the volume right, please, not hesitating at all to achieve in-your-room performance size.)
