MARK MELANSON haunted hearse LP eccentric folk psych Shipping Info | S/H info: Description MARK MELANSON the haunted hearse LP on NEW YORK COLOR ESOTERICS records (private press out of NY from 1970). fantastic, strange and TRULY unique outsider custom in charlie tweddle, peter grudzien, mark tucker vein. well-known LP and RARE too - one of the top strange psych-related artifacts i've been exposed to. tracks like "pieces in the sand" and "ants" are extremely bizarre yet expertly performed with harrowing irish grave digger vocals and dense, echo chamber folk/fx sounds. amazing insert included with pics of his psychedelic hearse and notes on his "functionist" political philosophy. see my other auctions for a cool mix of vintage sounds.
