 What a rare find, maybe the 'HOLY GRAIL" I picked up in Philadelphia from a well established black morticians group over 40 years ago. An Edison 10 inch, 1/4 inch thick disc. Record number 50576-R. BUCK FANSHAW'S FUNERAL-MARK TWAIN RECITATION. Mark Twain's voice is never heard of ever before on recordings. Just because there aren't any known recordings, doesn't mean one doesn't exist somewhere out there. The record is in great shape as pictured and the nicks or small chips on the outside does not affect the playing what so ever. Side two reads "Just 'fore Christmas" Eugene Field and James Whitcomb Riley recitation.I will include the wooden case with glass panels that I displayed for many years. It measures 11 1/2 x 12 x 2 7/8 inches. I know this is a rare one and there are no others out there that exist that I know of. Please ask any questions you might have before bidding.
