MARK VAVRA - "Vacuum Activity". (turkoise mrv1; stereo; 1980). Very cool rare private moody folk, folk psych LP from Chicago, Illinois. From the liners: "This album is the work of one person. All songs are composed arranged and performed by Mark Vavra on Martin D35, Jazz Bass Gibson and Yamaha electric guitars, Yamaha Steinway keys, Ludwig and Latin Perc. drums, congas, bells, chimes, okarina, Mitron, Phlaze". Recorded from 1977 - 1980. Limited pressing and only distributed in the Midwest. Cuts. "Cone head, Fat man, Come down in time (great folk psych cut), Downwind (anti nuke song), Power of the plastic (great folk psych cut), Cheyanne, Two Places, My love is real". *With lyric insert. *Vinyl is MINT.
