This 78 has not been cleaned, but has been played through once on each side on a record player with a diamond tip stylus

Original UK manufactured 10" Shellac 78rpm single. Company sleeve. Cat number Decca BM03609

From c.1944 this 78rpm is possibly a UK export for the French retail market. The label states "Manufactured in England" and "Fabrique en Angleterre". The Cat no 03609 and matrix numbers (W73031A / W73032A) are the same as the parent company 1946 UK Brunswick issue.

The company sleeve has a 3cm record tear in the centre of the bottom edge, as well as lots of creases (see pictures) 

Lots of light needle marks on both playing surfaces cause background clicks in addition to the normal shellac surface noise. Some heavier scratches on both sides (one on the B-side which extends across most of the playing surface) cause some louder clicks (see pictures).
