MARLY TAVARES / BOSSA 3 MEGA RARE BRAZIL 7” EP

 

RCA Victor LCB-1129 – Marly Tavares: Eu Também Canto – Mega Rare Original 1966 Brazil 7”, 33 rpm EP with Picture Sleeve. On this rare recording Marly Tavares is accompanied by the Bossa 3 Trio. Track listing: Medley: Gosto de Dançar, Só Tinha que Ser com Voce, Você, O Amor que Acabou, Preciso Aprender a Ser Só, Vivo Sonhando, Garota de Ipanema, Só Danço Samba; É...; Rio de Sol Maior; Pra Machucar Meu Coração - One of the rarest bossa nova records. As far as I know, first time on eBay – Cover: VG+ (a small tear on the opening edge, writing on back cover, few creases) / Record: Side A: Close to NM (except for a virtually harmless surface scratch on the second track) / Side B: NM (visually). It plays with some background clicks and pops, more noticeable on side B.

 

GRADING SYSTEM:

 

Normally, the records are visually graded only. Depending on the condition by visual inspection, I may also play grade them and report any flaws.

 

I use “Goldmine Magazine” grading method, in accordance with the following sequence:

  • MINT (M) 
  • NEAR MINT (NM)
  • VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)
  • VERY GOOD (VG)
  • GOOD (G)

(+ or -)  Slightly better or worse than the grade given.

 

My highest grade for a non-sealed record is usually NM (Near Mint).
