MARTA VELEZ friends and angels

This recording session is practically a who´s who in the UK music scene in 1069 with players like Eric Clapton & Jack Bruce from Cream, Mitch Mitchell from Jimi Hendrix Experience (and some say Jimi also played but I am not sure of that), Christine Perfect (Fleetwood Mac), Jim Capaldi from Traffic and Brian Auger among others! What do you say about that line up!

And offcourse on vocal duty we have Martha Velez and she sure could sing - amazing raw voice with lots of power tearing great funky songs like "Swamp man", "Feel so bad" "Tell mama" and "I´m gonna leave you" but also slower bluesier tracks. Some might know "Swamp Man" from a Andy Votel mix. Listen to some of the tracks below

This is the first UK press on Sire/London and is pressed on ultra heavy top vinyl - a real loud pressing as you can hear from the soundclips although the clips don´t do the songs justice!

Sleeve is in great condition with just a slight bent corner (nothing you see on first look) and two tiny letter on the back coloured in (see last picture) but other than that is great with full lamination, full shine and no tears and rips.

Record have two odd light marks and a few hairlines - it plays perfect. Most of the vinyl is dark shiny black - most people would have graded this EX or NM but I am keeping it strict. Even the inner sleeve is still there and complete!

GRADES:

Grades are sleeve/record. Only one grade means there is no picture sleeve. If there is a picture sleeve missing to this issue I will note it in the description.

My scale of grades goes from M- / EX / VG++ / VG+ / VG to VG-

I may or may not add any details to the description if needed. Do always check the picture before bidding. If you are uncertain o how a particular record play or looks, please email me and I try to email you with a detailed description! Sometimes a record looks like a VG but play like a EX then i usually grade it VG+ and if the visual and the playback differ much I will try to describe that.

Note that all soundfiles are from the records I am selling - allthough in a low bitrate MP3 format so they will sound better in real life. Records playgraded and recorded on a Technics 1200 with ortofon needle - I can´t tell how it plays on any other record player.
