Absolutely gorgeous copy of Martin Denny's timeless very first album, the original mono Exotica, on Liberty LRP-3034. This album only came out in mono originally, and is a completely different recording from the stereo pressing, which was recorded over a year later with a different band and not released until 1959. This original mono recording is very special because it features Arthur Lyman on vibes, who left to start his own exotica combo right after this record was released. The only way to hear this album with the original group including Lyman is to get the mono, which we have right here. This is a black label copy and is in absolutely gorgeous condition. The disc is nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover only has the slightest shelfwear and is also just gorgeous. This is a top copy of this classic, which helped start the whole exotica trend.
