Description

Rare original Dutch 1974 LP by the Martin Haak Quartet. See scan.

Tracks: The man I love / For no one (Lennon / McCartney) / Alone again... naturally / I love Serge // You are the sunshine of my life (Stevie Wonder) / Jordu / Once I loved (Jobim) / Yesterdays. Superb jazz !!!

Rare dutch jazz record by the Martin Haak Kwartet. Recorded in 1974. Featuring Martin Haak on piano, vibraphone, organ and percussion. Richard van Beaumont on bass, Martin Hendriksen and  Peter Ypma on drums and Neppy Noya on congas and percussion. Strong latin feel throughout the album. Several good tracks on this one. Especially the uptempo 'The man I love' works great with the percussion and gets somewhat of a swinging Brazilian feel to it. 'Jordu' is great as well.

Label: VIP VPT 1791. Original first press. Condition record/cover: ex- (some small surfacemarks that play with some incidental soft pops only)/ex (some wrinkles, slight edgewear). RARE & RECOMMENDED !!!

Essential item for any euro jazz fan / collector !!!
