You are bidding on a copy of the mega-RARE UK pressing of Marva Whitney's IT's MY THING. It was released in the UK in 1969 on the POLYDOR label and the cataogue number is 583 767. Stereo. IT IS NM!!!!
VALUED AT £150 IN RECORD COLLECTOR RRPG!!!!
As you probably know this was originally released in America on the King label and was produced by the Godfather himself - James Brown. There is a great little logo on the cover of this record A James Brown Production - The Sound Of Success.
This album has, I believe, been bootlegged in the past. This is an original UK copy that I recently acquired when buying a diverse collection from an estate of someone who has passed away. Sadly, there was no other soul than this. Every record was from the 50's and 60's and I can verify that THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1969 COPY.
As for condition I can confidently say that it is NM. There is no marks or tears of blemished on the front cover and NO BENT CORNERS. Looking at the record it has probably only been played a few times. There are no spindle marks.
As for the music it is superb and matches the front cover which looks simply amazing and so damned sexy!!
As my scanner cannot take 12" I have put up two pictures of the front cover and a copy of the A side label.
The only blemish on this beauty is a sticked that was on the top right hand side of the front of the LP beneath the Polydor logo.
