The Marvelettes was an American singing girl group on the Motown label. As Motown's first successful female vocal group, the Marvelettes are most notable for recording the label's first US #1 pop hit, "Please Mr. Postman", and for setting the precedent for later Motown girl groups such as The Supremes and Martha Reeves & The Vandellas. Although the spectrum of musical genre is varied, this collection heavily features PSYCHEDELIC, FREAKBEAT, PUNK, MOTOWN and NORTHERN SOUL.

We have a data-based collection, using the RARE RECORD PRICE GUIDES' grading scale (If you are unaware of this grading system please don’t hesitate to contact me and I will reply as soon as possible with the guides description). As you can see in the description there is a grading given for VINYL and AUDIO QUALITY. This is necessary because a record may seem poor quality when viewed, but when played the AUDIO QUALITY is often excellent. Conversely the VINYL QUALITY may seem excellent but when played the AUDIO QUALITY can be quite poor.
