TITLE/ARTIST: This ultra rare and highly collectible LP -- from 1961 -- by the groundbreaking, early Motown girl's group, The Marvelettes, is on the original, 1st press, white colored Tamla Label and is in very playable, decent condition--although not perfect by any means. The album is entitled, "Please Mr Postman" and features 11 great early songs by this very popular, early Motown girls group -- including the hit title song. It is just one of many nicely conditioned LPs I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead, including LPs by The Ventures, Brenda Lee, Barry McGuire, The Tymes and others.  The condition of this album is considerably less than what I usually list, but then, this isn't one of those "ho-hum, easy to find" LPs either -- in fact it's super collectible and ultra rare. So, please view the pics below, read about the LP's overall condition, and judge it everything for yourself. LABEL INFO: It is on the ORIGINAL, 1ST PRESS, WHITE COLORED, Tamla Label, TM 228, in original MONO. There is a fair amount of "wear/dirt" on the white label, but otherwise there are no problems to mention. VINYL INFO: OK, the vinyl is far from perfect in appearance, but it plays just fine---there are no skips and any background noise (popping) is limited primarily to the dead wax areas -- the music easily dominates when the songs start. JACKET INFO: The cleverly designed jacket is easily the best conditioned part of this whole package---in appearances anyway. There are just a couple, tiny scuff marks in the corner areas and a very small manufacturer's punch hole in the very bottom right corner, but otherwise, it is just fine and looks great!! If you already have a great conditioned record, this jacket might be just what you're looking for.... So again, please view the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. Regardless of the listed flaws this album might have, it is still one very rare and extremely difficult LP to find anymore--and it plays just fine, too! Check the value of this album out in your price guides and you'll see what I mean by collectible. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see this particular LP out there anymore, in any condition, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too.
