RARE UK PRESSING
MARVIN GAYE "PRIDE AND JOY / ONE OF THESE DAYS"
ORIGINAL 1963 EDITION, ORIOLE RECORDS, 1846, MADE IN ENGLAND
COMES IN ORIGINAL COMPANY BAG SLEEVE
VINYL LOOKS IN VG/VG+ CONDITION WITH PLAYING MARKS BUT NO DEEP SCRATCHES. IT PLAYS VG+ WITH OCCASIONAL LIGHT CRACKLE.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ON THE OUTER EDGE OF THE VINYL THERE IS A TINY CRACK BUT IT IS FULLY OUTSIDE THE PLAYING GROOVES OF THE VINYL (IN FACT IT'S ONLY ABOUT HALF THE LENGTH OF THE RUN-OUT GROOVE) SO IT DOES NOT AFFECT HOW VINYL PLAYS. I SHOW THIS ON PHOTO 3 WHICH IS A CLOSE-UP.
THE CENTRE LABELS HAVE LIGHT STORAGE / HANDLING MARKS BUT NO DAMAGE
Record Collector's Grading System
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover or any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packing might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite notable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
