used 1971 first edition tamla ts310 "whats going on" by marvin gaye. this album includes the songs what's going on, what's happening brother, flyin' high (in the friendly sky), savethe children, god is love and mercy, mercy me on side one. then, right on, wholy, holy and inner city blues on side 2. I am a vinyl listener, not a collector. I like to listen to music on vinyl and believe there is a more authentic sound to vinyl without all the digital remastering and such. I like the crackles. that said, I was sort of at a loss as to how to rate this album because it all seemed opinion based. I will say this, I listened to the album and it has one skip ( and by skip I mean, I had to go and lift the needle and move it because it repeated) in the last part of "inner city blues". it has the original dust jacket with one little tears at the top(please see pic 11). the cover has some wear from sliding in and out of a collection and opening and closing the record. there is some wear on the bottom and top bend of the cover (please see pic 12). this is a great album that is 48 years old  and has been played and enjoyed for a long time. as it should be. I have a friend who is getting rid of his records for ease of a "play list" ( I have to shake my head, but still my friend) and gave this to me. I already have a copy so...here we go.i have taken a bunch of pictures to help give you an accurate idea of the condition. please, please, please look at them and enlarge them. they give the best and most accurate idea of the condition of the item. i always try to highlight any flaws with the pictures. they are, by far, the most important part of my ad. please remember that this item is used, not new. do not expect new condition at a used price. it may have light markings/wear associated with being used.
